To use Remote Desktop
With Remote Desktop, we can connect to your computer from our office and access all of your programs, files, and network resources as though we were actually sitting in front of your computer.
You need to follow these steps to create a remote location:
- You will need to call our engineers at Computer St. Louis and receive an access code.
- Click the “Connect to Remote Helpdesk” link above.
- At the “Do you want to run or save this file?” prompt, click on the Run button.
- At the “Do you want to run this software?” prompt, click on the Run button.
- Enter the access code you were received.
You will also have a chat window to ask the technician any questions during the process. At the end of the remote session all remoting software will be removed from your computer.
