Windows XP

If you're looking for Windows XP on your new computer we are one of the only stores in town that have it on our shelves ready to take home today. 

Although many of our customers love Windows Vista we have found that Vista has operating issues with selected applications. That's why Computer St. Louis still provides Windows XP on many of our new and custom built computers.

Computer St. Louis along with many of the top computer manufacturers, plan to make XP available until 2010, when Microsoft is expected to roll out Vista's successor, currently code named Windows 7.

In a letter recently sent to customers, Microsoft Senior VP Bill Veghte said the software maker will provide security patches and "other critical updates" for Windows XP until April, 2014.
